Investing in seaweed innovation across Europe

Project aim is to develop the value chain for seaweed, promoting the progress of coastal and maritime areas of different regions of the EU.  New seaweed cultivation techniques and algal biotechnological application, into the food, biofertilizers and cosmetics industries.

Open Call

A total of 25 SMEs were selected, receiving grants of up to €60,000 per company, alongside access to a dedicated capacity-building programme.

FORUM

Each year, the project organises a Forum bringing together multiple seaweed-focused topics for discussion.
