The I3-4-SEAWEED project introduced a pioneering digital twinning solution for offshore seaweed farming, developed by HAEDES. This advanced system creates a virtual replica of seaweed farms, enabling producers to monitor environmental conditions, forecast outcomes, and optimize operations in real time. The solution represents a significant step toward “Aquaculture 4.0,” advancing the integration of digital technologies in sustainable offshore aquaculture.
